Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to everyone!!!!!!!!!!
From Our Editors Dan and Dr. Ellen and Daniel T. Nichols II:

Happy 2007 to everyone!!! Our fifth season has come and gone and we can’t believe it!!! Our family thanks you again for another great season this past year. It was a successful and memorable one for us. We continue to go forward with many projects here at your “home away from home” at Blue Water Manor Resort. The warm fall weather has been good for finishing many of our projects, but sad for our winter skiing and fun outdoor activities we enjoy in the North Country. Re-doing the upstairs kitchen was a great feat for us last season. Keeping Chef Rayko happy makes all our bellies happy when he is in there doing his thing, and it makes us want to lick the plates when we are all done with our meals. He will be here again this coming season and we feel that is a blessing for all of us! Our new Manor House kitchen/deck will be completed by the time we see most of you. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have been for some of you. Dan sometimes forgets his grand ideas take a lot more time and money than he expects (poor Ellen and poor checkbook!). The deck above the Manor House kitchen is absolutely beautiful. It will be used for resort guests only, and not restaurant customers. We feel the Manor House warrants nothing but the best for our customers, and that means no shorts cuts ($$$)!

The “Blue Water Manor Condo Resort” is moving ahead. We have formally met with the town and they are very supportive of the project. But as you all know, it is going to be a long process. The Adirondack Park Agency is great for the protection of our beautiful park of the world, but we all know “every rose has its thorn!” Hopefully by the time you see us, we will be able to provide pictures of what we are trying to build and accomplish. One of our favorite projects this winter will be putting more old pictures of Blue Water around the resort to commemorate our wonderful place with all its great memories.

We are busy enjoying our son and family during this time of year. The holidays are very special to us and we are busy trying to make up for all we miss when we are enjoying having you as our guests here at Blue Water Manor. Our annual trip to Queens delights Ellen’s family since they get to enjoy time with our son Danny. He is talking up a storm now, and we can’t at times understand it, but maybe it is in our best interest that we don’t. We hope you are blessed with this wonderful time of year and get to spend time with the people you love.

As always we get more and more people looking for that special room for those special dates. So give us a call by mid February to confirm your dates and accommodations that you left with us at the office. We wish you a special time for the holiday season and can’t wait to see you soon. Thanks for all the great photos online, and keep them coming!

Yours as always!
Mr. Daniel T. and Dr. Ellen A. and Daniel T. Nichols II and the whole Blue Water Manor Family.
