The Blue Water Manor 2009 Newsletter

Happy belated holidays, and a Happy New Year!!! Everyone is glad 2008 is over, and the year 2009 will surely shine! I know-“Don’t call me Surely!” Ha! Ha! With all that happened in the past year, this year will be a momentous one. We know that everyday pressures have been hard to deal with for all of us, and hope that your stay with us with your families and friends helps ground you so you get to see and remember what life is all about. Following the “American Dream” is noble and takes up too much of our time. Spending time with our families and friends will be a precious memory for both adults and children that will always prevail over a memory of being at work.

The lake is frozen and the ice fishermen and the snowmobilers are running around the lake. Ellen has been snowshoeing everyday with the dogs to get ready for the sun this summer. Dan and Danny are taking to the slopes to take advantage of the great snow we have had this winter. Danny had his first ski lesson yesterday and did great! It was a feeling similar to what you guys must feel when your kids learn to waterski at Blue! I guess that’s the next milestone to look forward to him learning! We had a sledding party on New Year’s Day to start the year off with all our friends and family. It was a lot of laughs and good food! This is the stuff that keeps the winter warm.

Yours as always!
Dan, Ellen, and Danny Nichols
